Let me just start off by saying, I absolutely love hearing how couples met. How somehow, against a bunch of odds, peoples' paths can cross so perfectly. That if anything went a little differently, it might not have worked out the way it did. When I launched this competition, I asked people to share what has been their favourite moments with their loved ones. Pamela and Ade's story started long ago in school already.
This is what Pamela wrote for her competition entry:
"It's not really one favourite moment, it's all of the little ones that make up our story. The day that stands out to me is when he asked me out, it came 5 years after we met - in the moment, we knew, that everything we went through together, was worth it. Despite judgement, despite the years we had to spend apart, we made it, and we were so worth it."
We met in Sandton on a rooftop just before the winter cold hit and they had their first couple shoot. Their happiness and love for each other really hit me in the feels. They lift each other up and I was so privileged to spend an afternoon with them. We had so much fun and laughs in the golden afternoon light. You just know it's true love when you can sense their connection is so much deeper than the surface.
They are both still studying and I am so excited for their journey together!

"Amazing, amazing, amazing! Not only did the photos turn out to be absolutely stunning, we also got to work with the coolest, most lighthearted and incredible photographer. She made us feel so comfortable from the second we met her and we already want to go back for more. It wasn't just a photo-shoot, it was the whole experience, something really beautiful.
I honestly cannot put into words what a wonderful experience it was! Thank you.
